About Us

Páistí Beaga was founded in 2010 by a group of mothers within the community. Their main aim was to provide quality, affordable preschool services to our parish and surrounding communities. 14 years on, Páistí Beaga has created a safe, home away-from-home environment for numerous children, both preschool and school aged care, and families. We have expanded our services and are eager to continue growing as the years go by.

The preschool is run by a voluntary group of directors, a parents committee, and a service manager. Below are the details of our current team:

Non-Profit Organisation

Páistí Beaga is a non-for-profit organisation, and any profits made go directly back into the setting or towards community-based projects. Páistí Beaga is also supported by our local Fás office, KRT Ltd, which has supplied a childcare professional through the scheme to our service over the last number of years.
